Polyvore

I've been using Polyvore for a week or two now. It's a fun app that allows me to make fashion or interior design sets with a simple bookmarket. I've seen a few blogs use something like Polyvore for months now and it's pretty easy to see why it's so popular -- it's fun! I

Thor Loves Catnip; Piper Not So Much

(download)

Thor is a big fan of catnip. His little sister, Piper, would rather watch him roll in it more than anything.

Everything TypePad: Announcing TypePad Micro

As part of our ongoing rollout of the NEW TypePad we are pleased to announce new social blogging features and the launch of TypePad Micro: a completely free level of TypePad focused on easy sharing of text, photos, and videos.

Yesterday, Six Apart rolled out Typepad Micro, their new micro-blogging service. I've taken a look at the system and it's pretty snazzy to say the least. However, I take issue with one thing in particular:

"No other blog platform combines these great microblogging capabilities — easy posting, profiles, following, an activity dashboard, etc. — with the full capabilities of a world-class, full-featured blogging platform."

Anyone else disagree? =)

Who is Posterous good for? : Performancing

The fact is, most people can benefit from having a platform that’s easy to post multimedia content to on the fly and integrating with social networks even if they are au fait with the likes of WordPress, TypePad and Movable Type.

I love Posterous and I love seeing it succeed. What a fine, simple way to blog. Along with my other two favorite blogging platforms, Tumblr and Soup.io, Posterous has truly brought blogging back into focus. No complicated magazine-style layouts, so silly configurations, no CAPTCHAS -- everything is simple, sleek and streamlined.

Way to go Posterous!
